It's Been Quite A Year - Goodbye Letter from Teacher Template

Dear Students and Parents,

It's been quite a year, hasn't it? Between the {project students worked on, class field trip, etc.} and the {another event from the school year}, we have learned a great deal and maybe even had a little fun while doing it.

Students, I have enjoyed being your teacher this year. It's rewarding when a teacher is able to get a class full of children who are eager to learn and willing to do the hard work necessary. You should be proud of the work you accomplished, both individually and as a class.

Parents, it was a pleasure having your children in my classroom this year. I hope you have been pleased with their progress in {subjects the teacher focused on}. They all have shown excellent promise for their future academic endeavors.

I will miss all of you next year, but I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Sincerely,

{Sender}

"You Have Always Been The Best Part of Me"

Dear Lucy,

This is the hardest letter I've ever had to write, but it's also the most important. While I can tell you that I love you every day until the end, it's still essential to me that I leave you with something indelible after I'm gone.

All this time you have been so amazingly strong and supportive. I could not ask for a better wife. I find myself with less sadness and fear as I reach the end of my life, because I know that I have experienced things that very few people do. I have had a wife whom I love with all my heart and who has been unswerving and devoted to me in return. I have had 3 children who make me prouder than I can say.

Know that when I am gone I still love you the same, and remain with you-in our home of 47 years, in the faces of our beautiful children, and in our love for each other. You have always been the best part of me.

Jacob
